Kistler Quartz Cavity Pressure Sensor Model 6175A2
Kistler Quartz Cavity Pressure Sensor Model 6175A2 for measuring cavity pressures up to 2000 bar when diecasting aluminum. Designed without diaphragm and with a flat, machinable front. This sensor must never be used for liquids and gases. Integrated high temperature cable with degree of protection IP65. The Kistler Quartz Cavity Pressure Sensor Model 6175A2 consists of a high temperature quartz sensor built into a rugged adapter. The sensor has a front diameter of 8 mm, is flush with the front of the adapter, separated by a cylindrical gap of < 10 microns and measures the pressure directly. This acts on a quartz sensor element, which yields a proportional electrical charge. The temperature of the melt touching the front of the sensor must not exceed 850C. All parts of the sensor are corrosion-resistant. The high temperature non-detachable cable is protected by steel braiding and has a degree of protection IP65. The Fischer connector is self-locking and splashproof. |
